Patrick Sullivan, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP

Patrick is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is a Registered Architect in the State of Florida. He holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Architect Certificate. NCARB certification facilitates reciprocal registration among all 54 NCARB Member Boards, 11 Canadian jurisdictions, and can be used to support an application for registration in other countries. NCARB is recognized as the highest professional certification in the architecture profession which is responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Florida and was 1 of 125 students selected into the University Scholar’s Program for interdisciplinary research in educational finance and leadership. He holds a Master of Architecture (M.ARCH) from the University of South Florida School of Architecture and Community Design. Patrick is also recognized as a United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
He has over ten years of design experience associated with several award-winning architecture firms and the USF School of Architecture and Community Design’s Florida Center for Community Design + Research. He has participated in organizing and leading public input as a project team member of several master planning projects ranging from criminal justice, educational, and a public realm business district.
Mr. Sullivan has also provided expert witness services as an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance expert. He has been asked to review handicapped accessibility issues involving Title III : Public accommodation, identify architectural barriers, make barrier removal recommendations, and cost analysis reports. He also provides consulting services for the Fair Housing Act and commercial real estate including retail, healthcare, hotel, and building management companies across the country. He has commercial, educational, and residential experience, as well as, expertise in dental office design.
